BlueBook 1957 Encounter With Spacecraft Occupants
Posted on 24 januari 2010 by Neo Xirtam in UFO's, tags: blue book, ufoOn November 6th, 1957, The Washington Daily News ran several interesting detailed stories about close encounters, including one with beings from a landed vehicle.
There is (or was) a newspaper called “The Washington Daily News.” Several newspapers around the United States bear this same name. However, it seems likely that the following photocopy which documents UFO encounters was taken from a newspaper in the Aiken, South Carolina area. This location is referenced by the main story with the headline.
The Atomic Energy Commission referenced here was renamed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission some years ago, which still exists today. It regulates all radioactive materials and nuclear reactors.
Over the past 50 years, close encounter stories like these no longer appear in city newspapers. Perhaps newspapers today are prohibited from running these kinds of stories.
I believe the propulsion systems used in some spacecraft distorts local space-time sufficiently to disrupt the electrical systems in cars and trucks. In the Lackland AFB encounter, we see that the stalled-engine effect during a close encounter was observed at least as far back as 1957.
It’s curious that the US Air Force SAVED A COPY OF THESE ENCOUNTERS in Project BlueBook.
This photocopy has a notation showing the source of this information, The Washington Daily News. The notation was then hand-dated by USAF personnel.
Several questions are raised by this one page from project Blue Book.[1]
WHY did the USAF put all three of these articles together on the same Blue Book page? As a former defense contractor I know that everything the government does in any project is always for a reason, even though the purpose or reason for a given action may never be revealed.
What did the USAF know about these encounters?
Could it be they are related in some way?
