Bos krijgt de zwarte piet, maar CDA lid Maxime Verhagen kan er ook wat van, kijk op 11:25, van Rossum heeft het hier bij het rechte eind. Ach misschien is Maxime ook na zijn zitting in de kamer een leuk baantje bij de NAVO belooft, waar hebben we dat vaker gehoord. Wouter heeft mogelijk dus een streep door de carrière van Maxime getrokken. Misschien is Maxime daar meer van over de emmer dan de val van het kabinet. Het is tijd voor nieuwe politiek, weg met de CDA regentenpolitiek.

SIBEL EDMONDS, voormalig FBI vertaalster, claimt dat de volgende regeringsfunctionarissen verraad hebben gepleegd. Het zijn wetgevers Dennis Hastert, Bob Livingston, Dan Burton, Roy Blunt, Stephen Solarz en Tom Lantos, evenals de laatste drie leden van George W. Bush’s kring: Douglas Feith, Paul Wolfowitz en Marc Grossman. Maar is Sibel Edmonds geloofwaardig?

Er is een einde gekomen aan het kabinet Balkenende IV. De premier maakte afgelopen nacht bekend dat hij het ontslag van het kabinet bij de koningin gaat aanbieden.

De PVDA bleef bij hun standpunt de missie in Uruzgan niet te verlengen.

Balkenende zei in zijn verklaring ‘dat een vruchtbaar pad’ voor dit kabinet ontbrak en dat ‘de eenheid werd aangetast’.

Zorgvuldig handelen was volgens de premier daarom niet meer mogelijk en er geen onderling vertrouwen meer was.

Het conflict in het Midden-Oosten nam afgelopen vrijdag filmografische vormen aan toen activisten uit een klein Palestijns dorp zichzelf uitdosten als de onderdrukte buitenaardsen uit de film ‘Avatar’ en een demonstratie uitvoerde voor de afzetting van de Israëlische West Bank.

Bush, Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, George Tenet, Condoleezza Rice and Alberto Gonzales (the “Accused”) for their criminal policy and practice of “extraordinary rendition” perpetrated upon about 100 human beings.

Despite criticism for the US military presence in quake-stricken Haiti, Washington says it has a long-term plan to stay in the country.

“We are there for the long term, this is not something that will be resolved quickly and easily,” US Ambassador to the UN Alejandro Wolff said on Thursday. Just three days after a magnitude 7 earthquake jolted Haiti on January 12, the United States began to send military forces to the impoverished Caribbean nation. The head of US Southern Command General Douglas Fraser said on Thursday that nearly 20,000 US troops are due to operate, both on land and offshore, by Sunday.

The Seismologic Division of the Ministry of National Infrastructure’s Geophysical Institute will attempt to simulate an earthquake in the southern Negev on Thursday. The experiment, financed by the U.S. Defense Department, is a joint project with the University of Hawaii and is part of a scientific project intended to improve seismological and acoustic readings in Israel and its environs, up to a 1,000 km/621 mile radius.

The experiment intends to improve the understanding of sound waves in the atmosphere. Scientists will then be able to fine-tune Israel’s seismological equipment to give advance warning of earthquakes. Measurements will also be taken in other countries, including Cyprus, Greece, France, and Germany.
