Steeds meer mensen worden zich ervan bewust dat er iets mis is in de wereld, en heel veel van die mensen vragen zich af wat zij kunnen doen.

Niet iedereen bezoekt bijeenkomsten en demonstraties, schrijft een weblog vol, schrijft brieven naar parlementsleden en kabinetten, is actief op fora of op straat en in het café.

Op vrijdag 28 oktober kan iedereen echter iets doen, namelijk niets: Occupy Yourself.

Het is de bedoeling dat iedereen zich vrijdag 28 oktober – het einde van de Mayakalender – losmaakt, en het systeem één dag uitschakelt. Niet gaan werken, niet naar school, niet naar de sportclub, niet naar de muziekvereniging, geen TV of radio, telefoneer niet, SMS niet, doe alle lichten uit, doe geen boodschappen, ga niet winkelen, koop niets, rij niet met de auto, trein, tram of bus, en doe helemaal niets – niets wat ook maar enigszins iets toevoegt aan het systeem. Lees een boek, ontspan, ga een gesprek aan, speel met je kinderen, bezoek je opa en oma, trek de natuur in, denk na over oorzaken en oplossingen; occupy jezelf.

Door het systeem één dag links te laten liggen kan iedereen laten zien dat hij of zij het niet eens is met de verdeling van de inkomens, met de woekerwinsten van de haute finance, met de organisatie van ons financiële systeem en met het steeds maar weer uit de brand helpen van goklustige en falende bankiers en staatshoofden, en met de ellendige gevolgen van altijd maar meer willen.

Je kunt je onvrede met de gang van zaken in de wereld nu dus een keer tonen door helemaal niets te doen.

Sommige mensen beginnen zich te realiseren dat er een aantal families zijn die de wereld domineren. Vergeet de politieke intriges, de conflicten, de revoluties en de oorlogen.

Het is niet puur toeval. Alles is al lange tijd geleden gepland. Sommigen noemen het een complottheorie of een Nieuwe Wereldorde.

Om de huidige politieke en economische gebeurtenissen te kunnen begrijpen is het essentieel om naar de kleine groep families te kijken die de afgelopen eeuwen veel rijkdom en macht heeft vergaard.

We spreken hier over zo’n zes, acht of misschien dertien families die de wereld domineren en controleren. In New York hebben we Goldman Sachs, de Rockefellers, de Lazards, de Loebs, de Kuhns en de Lehmans. In Parijs en Londen de Rothschilds, de Warburgs uit Hamburg en de familie van Baron Israel Moses Sieff.

Veel mensen hebben wel gehoord van de Bilderberggroep, de Illuminati of de Trilaterale Commissie (TLC). Maar welke families domineren de wereld en hebben controle over landen en internationale organisaties als de Verenigde Naties, de NAVO en het Internationaal Monetair Fonds (IMF)?

Laten we eerst kijken naar de grootste banken ter wereld en met name naar hun aandeelhouders, die in feite de beslissingen nemen. ’s Werelds grootste bedrijven zijn op dit moment: Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs en Morgan Stanley.

Aandeelhouders BlackRock: PNC, Barclays en CIC. Wie zitten er achter PNC? FMR Fidelity Investments, BlackRock, State Street Corporation en Vanguard. En wie zit er achter Barclays? BlackRock.

We kunnen nog uren doorgaan terwijl we belastingparadijzen op de Kaaimaneilanden, in Monaco of Liechtenstein passeren. Het is een netwerk waarbij steeds dezelfde bedrijven naar voren komen, maar nooit een naam of een familie.

Samenvattend kan worden gesteld dat de acht grootste Amerikaanse financiële instellingen (JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, U.S. Bancorp, Bank of New York Mellon en Morgan Stanley) voor 100 procent worden gecontroleerd door tien aandeelhouders waarvan vier altijd aanwezig zijn bij beslissingen: BlackRock, State Street Corporation, Vanguard en FMR Fidelity Investments.

Federal Reserve

De Federal Reserve bestaat uit 12 banken en wordt bestuurd door een Raad van Commissarissen. Tot deze raad behoren onder meer vertegenwoordigers van de ‘grote vier’. Met andere woorden wordt de Federal Reserve gecontroleerd door vier grote private bedrijven: BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard en Fidelity. Deze bedrijven bepalen het Amerikaanse en wereldwijde monetaire beleid zonder enige vorm van toezicht of democratische keuze. Deze bedrijven zijn de veroorzaker van de huidige wereldwijde economische crisis met als resultaat dat ze zelf nog veel rijker zijn geworden.

De volgende bedrijven worden gecontroleerd door de grote vier: Alcoa, Altria Group, American International Group, AT&T, Boeing, Caterpillar, Coca-Cola, DuPont, Exxon Mobil, General Electric, General Motors, Hewlett-Packard, Home Depot, Honeywell International, Intel, International Business Machines, Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan Chase, McDonald’s, Merck, Microsoft, 3M, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, United Technologies, Verizon Communication en Wal-Mart Stores, Time Warner, Walt Disney, Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation, CBS en NBC Universal.

Met andere woorden bepalen vier bedrijven wat u eet, wat u drinkt, welke medicijnen u krijgt, welk vervoersmiddel u rijdt, welk besturingssysteem uw computer draait, wat voor computer u heeft, waar oorlog is, waar naar olie wordt geboord, hoe uw huis ingericht is, wat er op televisie komt, welke films in de bioscoop draaien en hoeveel benzine kost. Aangezien de genoemde bedrijven zo veel mogelijk rijkdom en macht willen vergaren ligt het niet in de lijn der verwachting dat volksgezondheid in hun beleid een hoge prioriteit heeft. Ziedaar de reden voor het Occupy-protest.

Deze bedrijven controleren de grote meerderheid van de beursgenoteerde Europese bedrijven en de grote financiële instellingen zoals het Internationaal Monetair Fonds (IMF) en de Europese Centrale Bank (ECB), maar de namen van de families die de ‘grote vier’ aansturen verschijnen nooit.

On June 20th a group called the Foreign Policy Initiative sent a letter to the Republicans in the House of Representatives urging Congress not to allow cuts in US funding of NATO’s military operations in Libya. The Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI) is a non-profit, tax- exempt organization  The FPI  is just another CFR front organization promoting CFR US foreign policy.

On September 12, 1939, the Council on Foreign Relations began to take control of the Department of State. On that day Hamilton Fish Armstrong, Editor of Foreign Affairs, and Walter H. Mallory, Executive Director of the Council on Foreign Relations, paid a visit to the State Department. The Council proposed forming groups of experts to proceed with research in the general areas of Security, Armament, Economic, Political, and Territorial problems. The State Department accepted the proposal. The project (1939-1945) was called Council on Foreign Relations War and Peace Studies. Hamilton Fish Armstrong was Executive director.

In February 1941 the CFR officially became part of the State Department. The Department of State established the Division of Special Research. It was organized just like the Council on Foreign Relations War and Peace Studies project. It was divided into Economic, Political, Territorial, and Security Sections. The Research Secretaries serving with the Council groups were hired by the State Department to work in the new division. These men also were permitted to continue serving as Research Secretaries to their respective Council groups. Leo Pasvolsky was appointed Director of Research.

In 1942 the relationship between the Department of State and the Council on Foreign Relations strengthened again. The Department organized an Advisory Committee on Postwar Foreign Policies. The Chairman was Secretary Cordell Hull, the vice chairman, Under Secretary Sumner Wells, Dr. Leo Pasvolsky ( director of the Division of Special Research) was appointed Executive Officer. Several experts were brought in from outside the Department. The outside experts were Council on Foreign Relations War and Peace Studies members; Hamilton Fish Armstrong, Isaiah Bowman, Benjamin V. Cohen, Norman H. Davis, and James T. Shotwell.

In total there were 362 meetings of the War and Peace Studies groups.

The meetings were held at Council on Foreign Relations headquarters — the Harold Pratt house, Fifty-Eight East Sixty-Eighth Street, New York City. The Council’s wartime work was confidential.17 In 1944 members of the Council on Foreign Relations The War and Peace Studies Political Group were invited to be active members at the Dumbarton Oaks conference on world economic arrangements. In 1945 these men and members of Britain’s Royal Institute of International Affairs were active at the San Francisco conference which ensured the establishment of the United Nations.

In 1947 Council on Foreign Relations members George Kennan, Walter Lippmann, Paul Nitze, Dean Achenson, and Walter Krock took part in a psycho-political operation forcing the Marshall Plan on the American public. The PSYOP included a “anonymous” letter credited to a Mr. X, which appeared in the Council on Foreign Relations magazine FOREIGN AFFAIRS. The letter opened the door for the CFR controlled Truman administration to take a hard line against the threat of Soviet expansion. George Kennan was the author of the letter. The Marshall Plan should have been called the Council on Foreign Relations Plan.

The so-called Marshall Plan and the ensuing North Atlantic Treaty Organization defined the role of the United States in world politics for the rest of the century.

In 1950 another PSYOP resulted in NSC-68, a key cold war document. The NSC (National Security Council) didn’t write it — the Department of State Policy Planning Staff did. The cast of characters included CFR members George Kennan, Paul Nitze, and Dean Achenson. NSC-68 was given to Truman on April 7, 1950. NSC-68 was a practical extension of the Truman doctrine. It had the US assume the role of world policeman and use 20 per cent of its gross national product ($50 billion in 1953) for arms. NSC-68 provided the justification — the WORLD WIDE COMMUNIST THREAT!

NSC-68 realized a major Council on Foreign Relations aim — building the largest military establishment in Peace Time History. Within a year of drafting NSC-68, the security-related budget leaped to $22 billion, armed forces manpower was up to a million — CFR medicine, munition, food, and media businesses were humming again. The following year the NSC-68 budget rose to $44 billion. In fiscal 1953 it jumped to $50 billion. Today (1997) we are still running $300 billion dollar defense budgets despite Russia giving up because it went bankrupt.

America would never turn back from the road of huge military spending.

Spending that included the purchase of radioactive fallout on American citizens in the 50′s, and buying thermonuclear waste from the Russians as we approached the year 2000. Spending resulting in a national debt of $14 Trillion Dollars that continues to grow, and interest payments of over $400 billion a year. Is the Council on Foreign Relations trying to make the United States economically vulnerable to influence from outside sources? Isn’t that treason?

The USA is no longer a republic. It is a Corporatocracy run by the Council on Foreign Relations. Over 400 unelected Council on Foreign Relations members serve in government departments and run the government. The rulers are not the people, the rulers are members of the CFR British sister organization the Royal Institute of International Affairs aka Chatham House. An Open Letter to House Republicans

We thank you for your leadership as Congress exercises its Constitutional responsibilities on the issue of America’s military actions in Libya. We are gravely concerned, however, by news reports that Congress may consider reducing or cutting funding for U.S.

involvement in the NATO-led military operations against the oppressive regime of Libyan dictator Muammar al-Qaddafi. Such a decision would be an abdication of our responsibilities as an ally and as the leader of the Western alliance. It would result in the perpetuation in power of a ruthless dictator who has ordered terrorist attacks on the United States in the past, has pursued nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, and who can be expected to return to these activities should he survive. To cut off funding for current efforts would, in short, be profoundly contrary to American interests.

We share the concerns of many in Congress about the way in which the Obama administration has conducted and justified this operation. The problem is not that the President has done too much, however, but that he has done too little to achieve the goal of removing Qaddafi from power. The United States should be leading in this effort, not trailing behind our allies. We should be doing more to help the Libyan opposition, which deserves our support. We should not be allowing ourselves to be held hostage to U.N. Security Council resolutions and irresolute allies.

What would be even worse, however, would be for the United States to become one of those irresolute allies. The United States must see this effort in Libya through to its conclusion. Success is profoundly in our interests and in keeping with our principles as a nation. The success of NATO’s operations will influence how other Middle Eastern regimes respond to the demands of their people for more political rights and freedoms. For the United States and NATO to be defeated by Muammar al-Qaddafi would suggest that American leadership and resolution were now gravely in doubt—a conclusion that would undermine American influence and embolden our nation’s enemies.

In Speaker Boehner’s June 14, 2011, letter to President Obama, he wrote that he believes “in the moral leadership our country can and should exhibit, especially during such a transformational time in the Middle East.” We share that belief, and feel that now is the time for Congress to exhibit that moral leadership despite political pressures to do otherwise.

Iraanse president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad heeft de Verenigde Staten en Europa gewaarschuwd voor de golf van “menselijk ontwaken” die zich over de hele wereld zal verspreiden.

“De golf van ontwaking van de mensheid zal alle delen van de wereld bereiken, inclusief de VS en Europa. Leiders van de VS en Europese landen moeten niet denken dat zij onschendbaar zijn voor deze golfbeweging”, zei president Ahmadinejad afgelopen dinsdag, volgens nieuwsagentschap IRNA.

“Zij zouden beter niet de problemen in de wereld kunnen aanwakkeren, want zij worden meer blootgesteld aan deze golf dan anderen”, voegde hij toe.

Volgens de Iraanse leider staan de arrogante machten in de wereld en hun bondgenoten op de rand van ineenstorting.

Ahmadinejad benadrukte dat de leiders van de arrogante machten, met name de Verenigde Staten en het Israëlische regime, de belangrijkste veroorzakers zijn van bloedvergieten, misdaden en het schenden van de rechten van naties.

“Naties zullen niet worden misleid door hun campagnes,” zei hij, erop wijzend dat de mensen de VS en Israël verantwoordelijk houden voor de misdaden en schendingen die tegen hen zijn begaan.

Libië is terecht sceptisch over de ‘humanitaire’ bedoelingen, de westerse landen hebben oneindig veel redenen om zich met het land te bemoeien

De mainstream media doet een keer goed zijn werk want dit was vandaag in Trouw te vinden:

Achter de eensgezindheid van de partijen die in Parijs over het ‘nieuwe Libië’ praten, gaat een oorlog schuil die Frankrijk, Italië en Groot-Brittannië zijn begonnen om de exploitatie van de oliebronnen van het land, aldus Franse, Italiaanse en Britse kranten.

Na Irak is dus Libië aan de beurt, als dit allemaal op orde is zal het volgende slachtoffer Iran zijn.

Trouw schrijft verder:

Een half jaar na het begin van de aanvallen tegen het regime van Muammar Khadaffi hebben de Franse president Nicolas Sarkozy en de Britse premier David Cameron in Parijs de vertegenwoordigers uitgenodigd van een zestigtal landen en ngo’s, alsmede die van de Libische Nationale Overgangsraad om het einde van de militaire operaties te bezegelen en de grote lijnen te schetsen van de politieke overgang en de wederopbouw van het ‘nieuwe Libië’. Maar achter de schermen woedt een strijd om het Libische zwarte goud.

Libération spreekt van een “overwinning in de oorlog in Libië, waardoor Frankrijk weer stevig in het zadel zit en met een nieuwe Arabische wereld op één lijn zit”, en van een “diplomatieke Blitzkrieg die gepaard ging met een sterk staaltje militaire durf”. Een uitdaging waarvan “de Franse oliemaatschappijen een flink graantje mee zouden kunnen pikken”.

“Dat staat in ieder geval zwart op wit in een document waarop Libération de hand heeft weten te leggen en dat is ondertekend door de Nationale Overgangsraad, een tijdelijk orgaan dat door de opstandelingen in het leven is geroepen. Het was wel publiekelijk bekend dat de landen die de nauwste banden met de opstandelingen onderhielden, ook de hoogste ogen bij de Nationale Overgangsraad zouden gooien als het  moment daar zou zijn, met name met betrekking tot het aantal lucratieve oliecontracten. Maar in dit document komt duidelijk naar voren dat de toezeggingen al enkele maanden geleden zijn gedaan.”

Zoals gewoonlijk gaat het dus niet om de bevolking van Libië maar om geld.

And so, gradually, incrementally, salami-slice by salami-slice, we edge towards fiscal union – a monetary union with a single bank, a single interest rate, a single economic policy, and a single taxation policy. It was always obvious to anyone with an ounce of discernment that a single currency would fail in the absence of political union. And here we have it: not with a single ‘spectacular step’, but ‘a controlled process of gradual steps and measures’.
